“I am very, very happy to be the first to enter the Metaverse of athletics and beyond. I look forward to seeing you in great numbers … see you in Rome 2024,” the words of Larissa Iapichino, who in Espoo, Finland, became European Under-23 champion in the long jump, with a measure of 6.93.
This success was in addition to the silver medal won at the European Indoor Championships in Istanbul and the triumph achieved together with fellow members of the Italian national athletics team at the European Team Championships in Poland.
