With less than 150 days until the start of the Roma 2024 European Athletics Championships from 7-12 June, the recruitment process for volunteers is in full swing and there is still time to be part of this historic event.
More than 400 volunteers have already been selected for the Roma 2024 Volunteers project at the end of the first round of interviews conducted by Humangest, the HR Supplier of the EuroRoma 2024 Foundation.
And applications to become a volunteer for Roma 2024 will remain open until 14 February. People wishing to volunteer can still apply by filling in the form available here.
Not only does becoming a volunteer offer the chance to play an integral part of Italy’s biggest sporting event in 2024, successful applicants will receive exclusive benefits, including specific training sessions organised by Humangest and the EuroRoma 2024 Foundation, an official uniform made by Karhu as well as an invitation to the Roma 2024 final party.
Following the selection phase, the volunteers will undergo an initial general training course – both online and in-person – and will then be assigned to specific functional areas related to the organisation of the event:
- Accreditation
