The EuroRoma 2024 Foundation unveils the official logo of the Roma 2024 European Athletics Championships. The image was first shown to the public on Friday evening, June 2, in a video projected on the big screen at the Ridolfi Stadium in Florence during the Pietro Mennea Golden Gala of athletics, at a presentation by World Athletics President Sebastian Coe and European Athletics President Dobromir Karamarinov, along with Fidal President Stefano Mei.
The 26th European Athletics Championships will be held in Rome from Friday, June 7 to Wednesday, June 12, 2024. With the unveiling of the competition’s official logo, a year-long march toward the event then begins, which will be fueled by special initiatives organized throughout the country.
The EuroRoma 2024 Foundation was created at the behest of Fidal and is participated by the Department for Sport of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Lazio Region, the Municipality of Rome Capital, Sport and Health, Coni and Fidal, is in charge of organizing the competition that will feature the best European athletes, ready to compete at the Olympic Stadium, in the Foro Italico Park and in some of the most evocative places in Rome
