A promotion dedicated to the grassroots athletics movement ahead of the upcoming European Championships in Roma 2024, with the aim of paying tribute to those who work every day to practice and promote the discipline considered the queen of sports. The EuroRoma 2024 Foundation has reserved an offer aimed at all Amateur Athletics Sports Associations (ASD) affiliated with FIDAL and operating on the Italian territory: the ASDs will be able to purchase at a reduced price of 25% tickets valid for individual evening sessions and season tickets for three and six days of competitions, which will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome from June 7 to 12, 2024.

The promotion will be valid until October 30, and ASDs will be able to access it by connecting to a platform dedicated to the initiative. In fact, by entering their company code, associations will have the opportunity to purchase tickets and season tickets at a discounted price of 25 %, thus favoring the presence of their members at the Olympic Stadium.

The program of the Roma 2024 European Athletics Championships includes six consecutive days of competitions and 11 sessions in total, with a preview set for June 6 at a special location in the city, where the Shot Put qualifiers will take place.

Since last Aug. 17, tickets for individual morning and evening sessions have been on sale, with prices starting at 5 euros plus presale and service fees, season tickets for the first three days of competition (“Starting Weekend,” June 7-9) and the next three days (“Ending Days,” June 10-12), and the “All-In” season ticket that will allow people to follow the entire European Athletics Championships program at the Olympic Stadium. No ticket will be needed, however, to watch the weight throw qualifiers and to follow the half-marathon route scheduled for Sunday, June 9, with a route that will touch the most iconic places in Rome and culminate with the finish line inside the stadium.

“In recent months I have had the opportunity to attend several national and international athletics events. I was particularly impressed by the incredible commitment and great passion shared by the athletes, coaches and managers of ASDs and the entire FIDAL world, who are a valuable source of inspiration for us. In the run-up to the upcoming European Athletics Championships in Roma 2024, we want to offer them the opportunity to experience the excitement of the competitions up close and to support their favorite athletes from the stands and curves of the Olympic Stadium. After fifty years, Rome and Italy have the chance to host such a prestigious event, and the Foundation is keen to put all members of the grassroots movement in a position to participate in this great celebration of athletics,” adds Paolo Carito, general manager of the EuroRoma 2024 Foundation.
